What affects did Europeans have on the American landscape?

I am not concerned with the agriculture, but the actual landscape. I know that Native Americans created mounds in different shapes and all that, they also used the land for cultivation of their own. What specifically were the affects of the Europeans? I know they wiped out quite a bit of rain forest, what else?
