I'm making homemade yoghurt and it's still liquidy after 24 hours, is it okay to eat?

I sure don't consider myself to be an expert in these matters. However I would get another termometer asap. You really can't control the outcome without one. I think your day old yoghurt should be ok to eat. You might try to drain off the excess liquid and turn it into Greek style.
