How many years does it take a graduate of non-law to become a solicitor in Northern Ireland?

I have just finished my undergraduate degree at Queen's University Belfast in English and obtained a First Cl Honours. I have been accepted onto a Masters in Legal Science at QUB, which is a 2 year conversion degree. However after this I need to know what else I need to do to become a solicitor and how many more years this will take? I am 22 now and don't want to be a student forever so have to decide whether this is worth it or not!
