I keep getting C:\users\Name\Pictures is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable?

I ran the dskchk on the whole c: drive and it found no errors I also ran spy ware, malware , and a general virus check on the whole system it's clean . I have Vista if that helps and I already tried to restore it with no effect. How do I fix this so that I can access my pictures ?
