Emissions code P0551.?

I just had my 2001 Cruiser smog check, Data code is P0551, which states; Power steering pressure sensor circuit Range/Performance. Looked in my Haynes book, all that I could find that may be the problem is to replace the power steering fluid pressure switch. Can anyone confirm that this is the problem, and if I replace it, I should then p smog?
